About Icon Steel
A locally owned, woman-owned commercial steel fabricator and erector in Marana, Arizona.
A commercial steel subcontractor in Marana
Icon Steel, LLC is a commercial structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator and erector based in Marana, Arizona. We are locally owned and operated, woman-owned and SBE certified, and we work for general contractors across Tucson, Marana, Casa Grande, Phoenix and the rest of Arizona.
Icon Steel acquired We Fab Steel in 2025 and builds on that company’s history in southern Arizona.
Detailing, fabrication, erection and delivery stay with one company, which means fewer handoffs and a single point of accountability. On larger projects where detailing is outsourced to meet the schedule, we work with established partners held to the same standards of accuracy we hold ourselves to.
Whether the job calls for structural steel on a ground-up commercial build, architectural and miscellaneous metals, or Fast Track on a compressed schedule, the standard is the same: accurate detailing, controlled fabrication and erection crews who show up ready to work.
Inside the operation
The shop. Marana-based, fabricating everything from small tenant improvement packages to full commercial structural steel, with a quality control program that follows the work from cut list to load-out.
Detailing and technology. Self-performed in-house, backed by a Trimble X7 laser scanner for accurate field measurement and 3D BIM modeling through estimating and submittal. Design gaps get found on the model, not on the site.
The crews. Our own ironworkers setting our own steel, experienced in commercial construction, retail, multi-family housing and industrial projects.
The fleet. Finished steel is loaded and delivered on our own trucks, so the handover point is the job site rather than a freight yard.
Everybody goes home
Icon Steel maintains a written safety program in compliance with OSHA 1926 Subpart R, with daily job-site safety briefings and OSHA-certified supervision.
Grit doesn’t mean cutting corners, and speed never beats safety. Every beam we set, every deck we climb, we do it the right way every time.
Core values
Exceptional People Building Extraordinary Structures.
The Buck Stops Here
We own it. Every job, every mistake, every fix. Mistakes happen; what matters is what we do next.
Grit Under Pressure
We run toward hard problems, not away from them. Plan the work, work the plan, and keep a Plan B in the back pocket.
Beyond the Norm
“That’s how we’ve always done it” is the most dangerous sentence in construction. We question it.
Protect the Brand
Steel, tools and equipment are replaceable. Our name isn’t. How we treat people is the only reputation that matters.
Licensing, certifications and affiliations
Icon Steel, LLC is licensed by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors under ROC #354605. We are woman-owned, SBE certified and accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and active members of the Arizona Builders Alliance, the Marana Chamber of Commerce and The Chamber of Southern Arizona.
