We hire for the shop, the field and the office: welders and fitters, ironworkers and erectors, detailers, estimators, project managers and drivers. We’re not always advertising a role, but we’re always interested in good people. Send your details and we’ll keep them on file.
Welders, fitters and shop laborers building commercial structural steel and miscellaneous metals in our Marana shop, working from approved shop drawings with a quality control program.
Ironworkers and erectors setting steel on commercial job sites across Arizona, and drivers delivering finished steel to those sites.
Detailers, estimators and project managers who turn drawings into shop packages, bids and schedules, and keep the GC informed from award to close-out.
Commercial experience, the certifications your trade calls for (AWS, OSHA 10 or 30, forklift, aerial lift), and someone who speaks up when they see a problem instead of waiting to be told. If you’re early in the trade and you show up, we’ll teach you the rest, and people who take on responsibility get more of it.
Grit doesn’t mean cutting corners, and speed never beats safety. Icon Steel maintains a written safety program in compliance with OSHA 1926 Subpart R, with daily job-site safety briefings and OSHA-certified supervision.
Every beam we set, every deck we climb, we do it the right way — so everyone goes home to their family at the end of the day.
The buck stops here
We own the work. Every job, every mistake, every fix. Nobody waits around for somebody else to catch an error — we see it, we say it, we own it. Mistakes happen; what matters is what you do next.
Beyond the norm
“That’s how we’ve always done it” is the most dangerous sentence in construction. If you’ve got a better way to do something, we want to hear it. More about how we work.

A résumé helps but isn’t required — the phone number is the part we’ll use.
Upload your drawings and scope, and our estimating team will review the package. From shop drawings through fabrication and erection, you work with one accountable team.
